The Punta Rio Claro National Wildlife Refuge is a protected area located within the Corcovado National Park in Costa Rica. There is no entrance fee for the refuge, but visitors must pay the entrance fee to the Corcovado National Park. The park is open from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.

The Punta Rio Claro National Wildlife Refuge is home to a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, sloths, and numerous bird species. Visitors can hike through the refuge and observe the animals in their natural habitat. It is also possible to take a boat tour of the surrounding waters to see dolphins, whales, and sea turtles.

There are also numerous beaches in the area, including the popular Playa Carate and Playa Llorona. Additionally, visitors can take a tour of the nearby Osa Peninsula, which includes stops at mangrove swamps, waterfalls, and other natural attractions.
